This was a school project that we worked on alongside school. I worked as an Level Designer and Engine Operator.
The game is made with Unity with the HDRP render Pipeline.
Play as Steven Stuff: A gamer and Nerd who's addicted to buying merchandise and all sorts of things online.
Steven drew an NFT in paint (which took him 5mins) and sold it for 1 Million! His parents kicked him out and told him he'll never make it far...but seems like they were totally wrong!
With his new money he can finally give in to his addiction, which is collecting things..which is A LOT.
All these boxes gotta go somewhere, so it's your job keeping up with the delivery guy and your packages! Stack them in your apartment and don't forget to feed your Goldfish!
Ground Floor
First Floor
The level has a lot of small corners and spaces for packages to be placed into, however placed packages can be kicked around by the player if they are not careful enough.
The first floor is locked behind a door.
The only way up is by stacking packages in the living room in a way you can climb up to the first floor.
To help the player find the way up, there are posters in the living room directing their attention to the opening on the first floor.
There are four points where packages can appear.
The first point is at the front door, here packages can spawn from the start.
After 60 seconds three more spawns get enabled. At all new points packages get thrown through windows.
One point is in the kitchen. It's a small room that fills fast with new packages.
The next one is in the living room on the ceiling, which has the potential to create a lot of chaos since these new packages can interfere with already carefully stacked packages, undoing a lot of progress for the player.
The last spawn point is at the top of the stairs and packages tumble down the stairs and block the players path.
In the living room the player can find a fish, which he needs to feed. Next to the fishbowl is a timer that shows the remaining time till the fish needs to be fed again if the time runs out the clock beeps to alert the player that the fish needs feeding. The food for the fish appears in 4 different locations: in the kitchen, stairwell, bedroom and in the bathroom.
