1st and 2nd day we made the storyboard for our video with Anana.

Me and Justin were supervising a team of scriptwriters and video makers. We were working on various creative projects. Two of the scriptwriters weren't able to communicate their ideas between each other so I had to sit and talk with them, understand what difficulties they were facing and solving the issues we had. After investigating we came up with a great idea about the script. We used Celtx and shared with with all of the members of the team so we were all able to make changes.

That situation confirmed my knowledge not in professional but in personal way. I showed empathy to the other members of the team and we solved the problems we had working it out together.

After we went to Bristol and filmed the first video we gathered in Coventry with the video editing team discussing how should the the final version of the video look like and explaining our idea so that they could implement it in the editing later. The footage we had from the first project- Anana was not really good. Despite that we decided to try to put together at least the best parts we had to see if we can come up with something that will work. That was the first of the both days. Unfortunately, things did not go as planned. The editing team was struggling with making the video because of bad quality and lack of sources so they came and talked with me and Justin. On the second day we were looking for any potential ways to make it happen but at the end we decided to arrange another filming day to go to Bristol and film everything all over again.

At the end of the day I learned that you should be well prepared when you are going to a place to do the work you have to do. If not, you end up with not quality materials to work with.

We learned a lesson that we should consider thing seriously and work hard if we want to achieve great results.

On day 5 we were talking with Simon via Skype because he was not able to come to our meeting. We were showing him what we have done so far, explaining him what are our future ideas for the project itself and after that he gave his opinion saying what we should do more and what need revising. When we finished with the Skype meeting we did the improvements he advised. My task was to work in team with the scriptwriting and video editing team. We developed more ideas about the upcoming projects.

We started developing new video concept. It is essentially for bad experience of an Uber and how can a chat bot make the experience better. We decided to make some innovations in the app. The chat bot will ask the passenger to choose if they want the driver to be silent in the case they are not in the mood to talk right now or if they want him/her to be more talkative and friendly.

Another implementation idea we had is to allow the user to control the music in the car from the Spotify app and that way the passenger could have the ultimate experience. For that we will make interaction between the two apps and they can benefit from each other.

The third idea is improving the SOS button in the Uber app and creating a chat if the passenger is not feeling safe in the car he/she can explain about the experience they had.

The experience from this day will benefit me in the future because I gained an inside in UI and UX design while we were making the app outlook, how an app works and creative ideas as well.

In day 7 we presented to Simon the 3 video ideas we already had. We explained him how we expect it to work, what implementations we have made. We showed him prototypes, storyboards, examples and the videos we have done. We started explaining Simon the Uber concept that we were ready with and he told us that it would be better not to say it to the vice president at that point and it would be better to present the Anana story. So we had to think really fast and find our footage, storyboards and everything we had about Anana which was our first project.

Then we introduced ourselves to the vice president of Genesys who is in California. He met with all of the teams involved with the project and we had 30 minutes in total to explain to him our concept for everything. So each team had around 5 minutes to talk and that is why we called it elevator pitch. We had to imagine that we are stuck in an elevator with him and have really short time to impress him and sell him the idea we had.

I had to act expeditive and be professional in front of the vice president. I felt confused at the beginning because of their decision but after we presented it I felt relieve. Everything went good.

After that we moved on with our jobs as teams. My team had to help the scriptwriting team to write the script for the Uber and the Ebay video. We were doing a research about the companies, collecting ideas as well as coming up with filming ideas.

We were not always on the same page with all of the members of both teams but most of the time things were running smoothly and we did a great job.
