"PSX Test" was a blender project file dedicated to finding a way to recreate the PlayStation 1 era look while on modern hardware. The majority of the art style comes from heavy compositing. The style is not 100% accurate to the true limitations of consoles from that era, however that was never my intent. I call the way I approached it, "dream logic" since it wasn't exactly 100% true to real life, but I put in what made it feel old. Some of the techniques I employed were reduced framerate (12 fps), artificially limiting the color palette through compositing (posterizing), downscaling as well as adding bloom and a filter over top to create a screen door effect like you would see when filming a screen.
