Setting up a new Trezor hardware wallet is designed to be straightforward, even if you are using a hardware wallet for the first time. The official Trezor.io/Start page provides the starting point for downloading Trezor Suite and beginning the device setup process. Trezor currently recommends using Trezor Suite to connect and initialize your device securely.
To begin, visit Trezor.io/Start and follow the instructions displayed for your device. The official page provides access to Trezor Suite for desktop, while a browser-based option is also available. Trezor states that the complete setup generally takes around 15 minutes.
