This Privacy Policy describes how PORDL ("we," "us," or "our") handles information in connection with your use of the Pordl mobile application (the "App").
Your privacy is critically important to us. The Pordl app is designed from the ground up to respect your privacy.
1. No Data Collection & No Accounts
Pordl does not collect, store, transmit, or have access to any of your personal data. We do not require you to create an account or log in to use the App. We do not use any third-party analytics that track you.
2. On-Device Processing
All functionality of the Pordl app occurs directly on your device. This includes:
The list of applications you choose to block.
The focus session timers you set.
Any usage data and analytics reports generated by the app.
This information is stored securely on your device and is never sent to us or any third party.
3. Location Data
Pordl does not access, collect, or use your device's location data in any way.
4. Use of Apple's Screen Time API
Pordl uses Apple's Screen Time API (FamilyControls and DeviceActivity) to provide its core functionality. Your interaction with this API is governed by Apple's own privacy policies. The data accessed through this API is processed on your device to enable the app blocking and reporting features and is not visible to us.
5. iCloud Sync
If you choose to enable iCloud, your selected settings and list of blocked apps may be synced across your devices using your personal iCloud account. This data is end-to-end encrypted by Apple, and we do not have access to it.
6. AI Features (Gemini)
If you use features within the App powered by Google's Gemini API, please be aware:
If you provide your own API key: Your use of the feature is subject to Google's Privacy Policy. We do not see or log your requests.
If you use the App's built-in key: The prompts sent to the Gemini API are designed to be anonymous and do not contain any personally identifiable information. We do not log or store the content of your prompts or the AI's responses.
7. Children's Privacy
The App is not directed to individuals under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
8. Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update our Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy on this page. You are advised to review this Privacy Policy periodically for any changes.
