The Pride of the Panhandle Golf Club hosts four signature events each year at Ross Rogers Golf Complex in Amarillo, Texas. From a major Memorial Day weekend tournament open to all golfers to a members-only Club Championship, the POPGC calendar offers competitive golf for players of all skill levels throughout the season.

Date: May 22–24, 2026 (Memorial Day Weekend)
Format: 36 holes stroke play | Flights: Championship, 1st Flight, 2nd Flight, Women’s, Net
Open to: All golfers (public event)
Includes: Welcome reception, Saturday skins game, Saturday dinner, Sunday awards luncheon

Format: 2-man team event — Scramble + Chapman Alt-Shot | 1st, 2nd, and 3rd Flights
Open to: All golfers (public event)
Includes: Flight skins game with purse awarded per flight
Date: September 7, 2026 (projected — Labor Day Weekend)
Format: 18 holes stroke play (gross & net leaderboards) + Net Skins game
Open to: POPGC Members Only — active membership required to compete
Includes: Gross and Net leaderboards, Closest to Pin competitions, Net Skins purse
Date: October 3, 2026 (projected — first Saturday of October)
Format: 2-man team match play — Scramble + Alt-Shot | Red Team vs. Blue Team | 8 matches
Open to: All golfers (public event)
Includes: Team skins purse, trophy presentation for the winning team
