At the most basic level, this first assignment is about signing up for a "GeoSet" (made up of one LDC, one MDC, and one US state), but this assignment is not nearly as straightforward as that. For one, it's worthwhile taking a moment to research what criteria are involved with designating a country an LDC or MDC. So there are a few parts to this assignment.
