We love family movie nights over here, and we love it even more when there is a giant bowl of yummy popcorn to eat as we watch it. As a kid too, we regularly made and ate popcorn, as we crowded onto the couch to watch a movie, TV show, or a football game. It is one of our fun family traditions, and my kids love doing it with me.

Personalized popcorn would make for a great favor or addition to baby showers, weddings, birthday parties, or a family movie night. The best part about having a blank instant download printable template is that you can create for any ocassion.

First, click the download link at the end of this post to access the free popcorn template wrapper. The 8.511 design canvas will direct you to Canva. You will see your print sheet with a pre-sized rectangle, sectioned off with guides.

Next, change your background, add clip art, and text. You can use your own images by uploading them to Canva and dragging them onto the design. If you have Canva Pro you have access to all of their graphics and fonts to use while creating your popcorn wrapper. I highly recommend it. Also, remember that the bottom and top sections will be the back, so any graphics or text added to that area, must be rotated so that they are upside down.

Make sure you have your printer settings to match your paper type. If using our recommended glossy Party Printables Paper, when you click PRINT, go to OPTIONS or PRINT SETTINGS/PREFERENCES and select GLOSSY PHOTO PAPER as your paper type and quality to high.

They turned out really nice! At first I was thinking you got those plastic popcorn cups at the dollar store (they sell them) & then spray painted them, but a printable template might just be better! :)

Glad to hear you may be at least beginning to win against the migraine beastie. And as ever, I'm in awe of your creativity - the popcorn boxes are just great.

I hope you won't mind if I point out that the lines you quoted (from "Jabberwocky") are by Lewis Carroll, not CS Lewis. (This retired English teacher can't help it!!)

Love this idea...I'm stealing the ikea pot rack one :) and how do your nesties stick up there behind all that?? Great post BTW, even if its not all detailed and fussy. Migraines suck....mine is drug resistant tonight!

Thank you so much for sharing. These boxes are fantastic. I posted a link to them on my storage solutions blog. You have a wonderful blog! I can adapt to any of these formats, but personally use JPEGs the most. I don't know much about PNGS, but PDFs are great for these types of instructions. I know - big help (lol). Connie

You can use this cute, mini Halloween popcorn box for your own projects. Just print and assemble the box yourself. Then fill it with whatever yummy treats you want and hand it over to your favorite ghouls and goblins. I think it would be a lot of fun to make caramel popcorn balls, wrap them up in pretty Halloween orange paper and put them in the popcorn boxes to give as little gifts.

We are new to the whole Valentine thing. My oldest, Lily, isn't in preschool but does go to what she calls "church preschool" every Sunday. I wanted to make a special treat for her to bring, but was kinda clueless as to what. Treat or no treat? I know that peanut/tree nut free is important, as well as other allergens like dairy or egg or whatever. Little toys? Those sweet paper character Valentines that we loved as kids?

But then I saw these sweet little bags of kettle corn (made from Angie's, the Boom Chicka Pop people). And sure enough, they were allergen and crap free, so into my cart they went. $5 for 16 at the place where I spend all of our money, aka Target.

The bags did have a "to, from" area but I love a good pun or play on words and wanted to make something simple that I could attach. You know, cute but not too much work that would make me rise to elite-awesome-Pinterest-mom status.

I made these simple printable Valentines in purple and blue, perfect for boys or girls. There are 6 to a page, they won't require much precious color from your ink cartridge, and all you have to do is cut them out, sign a name, and use washi tape to attach them. Very easy!

I was looking forward to using the same printable this year too! Maybe you could use them on a bag of Pirate Booty popcorn? I've seen those bags individually wrapped in my regular grocery store. I believe those are nut and dairy free, but not sure of other allergens.
