About Us

We are a free puppet slam based in Humboldt Park. Our motto is just fun, low expectations, loving support, all levels of puppetry (that's a long motto, probably). 

Puppets are life. They can be so funny/sad/nostalgic/expressive in ways that we can't. This slam is a place where we can express all that and more while having a great time and making new friends!!!

The slam's originators are sisters Sylvia and Ella Kramer and the slam is named for our sibling who lives too far away in Idaho because they say Pookie all the time <3
