Our Mission

What Do Our Students Say About PBI?

A. Adetula - Graduate

"After completing my GED with PBI, I decided to pursue the Electrical program. I was striving towards something better than what I started with. The instruction felt more personalized, geared to the individual and what they need. I felt like I earned my education through participation and desire, and when things got hard, I remembered the importance of what I was doing and didn't quit."

A. Ward - Student

"PBI has definitely given me more of a motivation to complete a higher education. I started by getting my GED, and now I'm currently enrolled in my second semester of college, and PBI helped me get ready for that. This was something that I personally had to earn and put the work into, and I feel like my education here is something that no one can take away from me."

F. Cruz - Graduate

"I felt like quitting many times; English was so difficult to me, but my teachers refused to let me quit, and I felt like I couldn't quit on them. My classes at PBI helped to give me confidence and the ability to understand and engage in conversation. I want to keep learning and maybe attend college someday. I feel like it was difficult, but I worked hard, and definitely earned it."
