In 5th grade, are building on their vocabulary and can use more artistic techniques and tools. Lessons can encourage expression of ideas and emotions. Their awareness of the world has grown so art can be used to explore more complicated thoughts and feelings about themselves and their communities. All of these are just suggestions.
