Tradition that dates back to the 1930’s and as far back as the 1910’s in Missouri, through the years has gotten bigger and expanded to other parts of the U.S. The tradition is that the bigger the mum, the more loved you are by the one who gave it to you. Males typically wear the mum garter on their arms and the ladies wear the mums around the neck or pinned to their shoulder. Historically Freshman through Junior Year, mums and garters are school colors with Seniors choosing either White/Silver or White/Gold or choosing themes. The best thing about Homecoming season is your garter and/or mum can be as diverse as you are.
We are in San Antonio, Texas but can ship anywhere. We are a small business and operate out of our home. You can place your order through our online web form. We require at least two weeks prior to HOCO date for your order.
At least a 50% retainer is required to secure your order. This payment is applied toward your total and is non-refundable, as materials are ordered and time is reserved specifically for your order. You will be contacted once this form has been reviewed with payment options. Total remaining balance is due one week prior to pick up. Changes on your order are accepted up to 72 hrs after payment/deposit is received.
Each HOCO creation is custom made, once the retainer is received I begin working on the design, braids, etc. therefore it is non-refundable to cover start up costs and materials. Should you need to cancel your order, please let me know as soon as possible.
If you have paid more than 50% of the total cost I will refund the difference if cancelled more than 1 week from HOCO date.
Mums and Garters will be available to pick up starting the Wednesday, after 4pm, before your HOCO date, at the latest. If you have special circumstances and need earlier, please discuss with me.

For most, buying everything that they want in a mum or garter will cost over what our standard offering includes not to mention the amount of time spent sourcing all of the materials and then putting it all together. We buy through wholesale vendors and support small businesses as much as possible.
I hear you, and homecoming can definitely add up! My prices reflect the premium supplies and hours of custom hand-crafting that go into every piece. However, I want to make sure you get something special, if you have a specific budget in mind, we can look at scaling back the size, choosing fewer custom braids, or swapping some elements to find a beautiful option that works for you.

No Photos Please – If you are nervous or VERY VERY particular about your order it’s best to call us and request a time with the owner to talk about your mum before ordering. We can do this via phone or TEAMS. We will work with you on your mum order until you’re happy that we understand your vision. But please do not ask us to send you photos of your product in process. This takes a lot of time for the amount of orders we handle. It sounds simple to snap a photo and send it to your phone, but this can lead to an hour long text session about what is being done. And in process pictures do not do the final product justice. Likek most things that are special ordered, it's better to trust the company you hire.
If your order total is over $250 and your HOCO date is at least two months out then we can arrange payment options for you. At least a 30% retainer is required to secure your order. This payment is applied toward your total and is non-refundable, as materials are ordered and time is reserved specifically for your order. Payments will be broken up with the remaining balance due at least a week prior to HOCO date.

Any orders placed week of HOCO date will include a $15 rush fee. Any orders placed within 72hrs prior to HOCO date will include a $25 rush fee. Rush fee may increase depending on the HOCO item selected.
Changes on your order are accepted up to 72 hrs after payment/deposit is received. If you are requesting additional items, the price may increase. We will communicate with you directly.
