I am particularly interested in exploring how and why the built environment has developed into its current iteration. This line of questioning led me to ask how many and which transnational influences were most impactful? Furthermore, to what racialized and socioeconomically stratified ends? My undergraduate study of History focused on labor, gender, comparative race, and ethnicity in the United States. Understanding the quotidian impacts of more extensive structural and ideological processes made me effective in my non-profit housing job. However, I am now working to build on both research and practical experience to apply to doctorate programs in History .
