Best Beach House Ever!

Our family of four had a fantastic time at this beach house. It was such a luxury for each person to have their own bedroom with connected bathroom. The living room was very comfortable for watching tv or napping. The dining table was great for puzzles, eating and playing games. The washer/dryer were incredibly large, so it was easy to do one big load. We loved hanging out on the back porch, watching the pelicans and dolphins. The Dollar General is a very quick drive from the house and was fully-stocked with everything we needed.

We loved everything about our stay! The home is lovely, spacious, has beautiful outdoor spaces, and a PERFECT view! We spent our days on the sand and our nights on the porch staring into the sea. We loved that all bedrooms have their own bathrooms as well. The host was responsive and extremely helpful. We also loved the proximity to the resort…it was nice to have that option for teens who can sometimes bore easily. We hope to stay here again!

The house perfectly met our expectations. The layout is great and it provided everything we needed to make ourselves comfortable for the week. The beach is lovely and so close to the house. We effortlessly could come and go between the house and surf as we pleased. Hopefully, we will stay here again in the future!

Wonderful Cabana Beach property

Our family of 6 adults and 6 young children recently stayed in Marla’s beautiful home in Cabana Beach for our biennial family beach trip. We have been going to Cabana Beach for well over 40+ years and have been in many different properties. This house is so nice. The pictures really do not do it justice. The rooms are large and spacious. Everything seems like new, from the floors, furniture, fixtures, linens, bathrooms, even the paint inside and out!

The layout was perfect for our family. Meal times can be hectic trying to get meals ready for 6 young children but the kitchen island area was large enough for “all hands on deck” at the same time. The large open storage unit in the kitchen was perfect to put up groceries and find them easily. There was ample seating in the house and on the covered back porch. The smaller children loved playing in the area underneath the house and it was so nice to shower all of them off at the same time in the large outdoor shower.

The one concern we had prior to staying here was the location next to The Beach Club, a large multi building/story/unit condominium complex next door. At least during our stay, that turned out not to be a problem at all. We didn’t hear any excessive noise and the beach club guests were respectful of the property boundaries. And there were a lot of guests there during our stay!

Last but certainly not least, check-in was very easy, and Marla is so sweet and so responsive. We will definitely stay here again. Hoping this review doesn’t make it too difficult to book the next time we need it, but I couldn’t give Marla and her house anything but the most glowing review. Thank you Marla!

Sometimes pictures can be misleading, but this property was even nicer than we expected!! Marla was very prompt in pre-stay communication. Terrific layout with a bathroom for each bedroom. We recommend :)

My family has been taking our vacations on fort Morgan for 30 years, and this is definitely our favorite property! Marla is a very responsive host, the home is well-stocked & the layout is fabulous. We really appreciated the “extras” left for guest use-beach towels, board games, outdoor cups, etc.

The location of the house was great, we wish it were a little more secluded but the condo next door did a great job of staying off the property so it worked out well. The house itself was awesome! Very clean! Lacking some essentials like handsoap but the dollar general is right down the road so no big deal! Marla was absolutely the best to work with!! We even asked if they had other properties to rent for bigger groups because she was so heat at communication and if there were any problems, they were resolved immediately! We will ABSOLUTELY consider renting this property again!

We enjoyed staying here. The set up of the house was very nice! I like how each bedroom has its own bathroom and each room is a very good size with plenty of room for a pack n play. When you come into the kitchen, there is wonderful shelving where you can easily organize all of your groceries and keep the kitchen counters neat. We were a little worried about the condo next door, but the condo residents stayed on their side of the property (there is a large sign announcing private property) and we had a nice quiet beach trip! Lastly, this property is not too far down Fort Morgan Rd and that was nice to be closer to town. Thank you for a great stay! We will definitely be back!

Location, location, location!

You could not find a more PERFECT spot literally ON the beach. We had the area in front of the home all to ourselves! The outdoor shower with hot water was awesome! The inside of the home was impeccably clean and the bed linens smelled SO good... We got such an incredible price on this beautiful home. I'm convinced that there isn't a better "backyard" anywhere to be found. The decor was bright, homey, and beachy. We stayed in Bedroom 2 because its decor was more colorful than the master, but all of the bedrooms were very nice. Each has it's own full bath with a shower with seat. We slept well with extra blankets provided in the closets and comfy pillows.

Traveler tip: The neighborhood roads are gravel/sand and are flooded during heavy rains and littered with potholes. We drive a pickup truck and had no problem, but I'd be hesitant to drive a very low vehicle.

Thanks to Marla for such a wonderful stay at a equally wonderful price and for sharing your special slice of heaven.

Everything was lovely about this place!

Right on the beach - very clean and spacious - kitchen big enough to cook meals for our small army of family - living room big enough for our karaoke night.

Four bedrooms - very nice that each had their own bathroom.

The owner was delightful, helpful and quick to answer any questions!

Can't wait to do it again!

Felt like we walked into a combination of an Ernest Hemingway novel and a Williams Sonoma high-end show room.

It was the perfect combination of the sea and luxury mixed together with amazing views, sounds, feels, and surroundings.

We are a family of 7 and the kids all loved the place. Ages 2 to 19 - they all found their area and then spent the next 7 days exploring the beach and the ocean. From crabbing, to fishing, to sunning, to just relaxing and bonding as a family, we could not have asked for anything more. Will 100% be back next year.

You can not beat this house in the Fort Morgan area. So close to the beach it's nothing at all to get beach equipment set up. Also next door to the Beach Club do you visit there for dinner and such. We will be back

This property was perfect for our family and extended family. Lots of space inside plus we loved the single level living space so we didn’t have to worry about our 1 year old climbing or falling down any stairs. Kitchen was very well equipped with all utensils and pots/pans. The beach was SUPER close, clean, and private. We loved it! Another awesome feature is the outdoor shower with warm and cold water. Made coming up for the day with 3 kids under 6 much easier :)

We stayed at the house with some family and had a fantastic time. The beach was quiet (the condos nearby are still mostly unoccupied due to the latest storm) and the weather was pleasant. We received a prompt response from landlord if we had a question or a problem. The house was clean and easy to find. The beach was close by (very short, private walk) and the deck provided excellent views. In summary, we would love to come back to this rental in the future.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this quiet, comfortable, well-appointed beach house. It is the perfect place for a beach getaway apart from the busy beach front condo scene. The house is spacious, with every bathroom having an attached bathroom. The beach is beautiful and peaceful.

The house was beautiful and exactly as advertised. We loved the layout of the house, so nice to be on one level. Spacious bedrooms and living area and a bath in every bedroom was great!! Beds were so comfortable!! The view was spectacular and the amenities at the Beach Club were very enjoyable. The house has everything you need to have a fantastic vacation. We are sad to leave but already making plans to return later in the summer.

Amazing House!

My family and I have rented a lot of places in this area and this is by far our favorite. We had 6 adults and 4 children and it was a perfect fit for us. Having 2 king beds is something we look for but can't always find in rental houses. Also, each room having a bathroom was great! The house is in an amazing location and was very clean. Communicating with the owner was easy. She was responsive, very nice, and even checked on us after there was a storm during our stay. We are already looking at dates to go back!
