These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your use of the One Tap Focus mobile application ("the App," "we," "us," or "our"). By downloading, installing, or using the App, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the App.
The App
One Tap Focus is a distraction-free Pomodoro focus timer. It provides a free core experience and an optional one-time paid "Pro" unlock. Features and availability may change over time.
License
We grant you a personal, limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to install and use the App on Apple devices that you own or control, for your personal, non-commercial use, in accordance with these Terms and the Apple Media Services Terms and Conditions.
Eligibility
You must be able to form a binding contract to use the App. The App is suitable for all ages and does not require an account.
Purchases (Pro Unlock)
One Tap Focus offers a single one-time, non-consumable "lifetime" in-app purchase that unlocks Pro features (the price is shown in the App, e.g. $1.99). There is no subscription and no recurring charge. All purchases are processed by Apple through the App Store and are subject to Apple's terms; we do not process payments directly. The Pro unlock is tied to your Apple ID and can be restored on your devices using the "Restore Purchases" option in the App. Pro features that depend on a network or platform service (such as iCloud sync) require those services to be available and enabled.
Refunds
Purchases are handled by Apple, and refunds are managed by Apple under its policies. We are generally unable to grant refunds directly. To request a refund, use Apple's process at reportaproblem.apple.com. Statutory rights that cannot be waived under applicable law remain unaffected.
Acceptable Use
You agree not to: reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the App, except where such restriction is prohibited by law; circumvent, disable, or tamper with purchase verification, entitlement checks, or any security feature; use the App for any unlawful purpose; or distribute, rent, lease, sell, or sublicense the App.
Your Data
The App stores your focus data locally on your device and, optionally, in your own iCloud account. You are responsible for maintaining backups of any data that is important to you. Our handling of information is described in our Privacy Policy.
Third-Party Services
The App relies on third-party services including Apple (App Store, iCloud, notifications) and RevenueCat (in-app purchase management). Your use of those services is also governed by their respective terms and policies. We are not responsible for third-party services.
Intellectual Property
The App, including its software, design, text, graphics, and logos, is owned by us or our licensors and is protected by intellectual property laws. These Terms do not grant you any rights in our trademarks or branding.
Disclaimer of Warranties
The App is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the App will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that data will not be lost. The App is a productivity aid and is not a medical, health, or professional service.
Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of data, profits, or goodwill, arising out of or related to your use of the App. Our total liability for any claim relating to the App will not exceed the amount you paid for the App in the twelve (12) months before the claim. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations, so some of the above may not apply to you.
Termination
These Terms apply until terminated. Your license ends automatically if you fail to comply with them. You may end this agreement at any time by deleting the App. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination (such as Sections 9–11) will survive.
Changes to These Terms
We may modify or discontinue the App or any feature at any time. We may also update these Terms; changes will be reflected by the "Last updated" date above. Your continued use of the App after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
Apple-Required Terms
These Terms are between you and us only, not with Apple. Apple is not responsible for the App or its content and has no obligation to provide maintenance or support for the App. Apple is not responsible for addressing any claims relating to the App, including product liability, legal or regulatory non-compliance, or consumer protection claims. We (not Apple) are responsible for addressing any third-party claim that the App infringes intellectual property rights. Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these Terms and may enforce them against you.
