One Tap Focus ("the App," "we," "us," or "our") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains what information the App accesses and how it is used. In short: your data stays on your device. We do not run servers that collect your personal information, and we do not use analytics, advertising, or tracking tools.
Information We Do NOT Collect
One Tap Focus does not require an account, login, or registration. We do not collect, transmit, sell, or share any personally identifiable information. We have no servers that receive your focus data, and we do not use third-party analytics, advertising, or tracking SDKs.
Data Stored on Your Device
The following information is stored locally on your device only (including in a shared app group used by the home-screen widget):
Your focus session history, daily totals, streaks, and daily goal progress
Goals and tags
App settings and preferences (theme, ambient sound choices, timer templates, notification toggles)
Your Pro unlock status (cached locally for offline use)
This data never leaves your device unless you enable iCloud sync (see Section 3). We cannot access it. If you delete the App, this data is permanently removed.
iCloud Sync (Optional)
If you are a Pro user and turn on iCloud sync, your focus history, goals, tags, and settings are synchronized across your own Apple devices using Apple iCloud Key-Value Storage. This data is stored in your personal iCloud account, controlled by you and governed by Apple's Privacy Policy. We do not keep a server copy of it. If you do not enable iCloud sync, your data stays only on the local device.
Purchases (Pro Unlock)
One Tap Focus offers a single one-time, non-consumable "lifetime" Pro unlock (e.g. $1.99). There is no subscription. Payments are processed by the Apple App Store, and purchase verification and restoration are handled by RevenueCat, Inc. To manage your purchase, RevenueCat may receive a pseudonymous app user identifier, transaction and receipt information, and device and country information. We never receive or store your full payment card details. See Apple's Privacy Policy and RevenueCat's Privacy Policy for details.
Notifications
With your permission, the App sends local notifications to alert you when a focus session or break ends. These are generated on your device. We do not use push notifications from external servers, and no data is sent to us to deliver them. You can revoke notification access at any time in your device Settings.
Network Access
The App connects to the internet only to load product pricing, complete or restore a purchase through the App Store and RevenueCat, and to synchronize data via iCloud if you have enabled it. The core focus timer works fully offline.
Children's Privacy
The App does not collect personal information from anyone, including children. It is suitable for all ages.
Data Security
Because all your data remains on your device (or in your own iCloud account) and is never transmitted to our servers, it is protected by your device's own security features, such as your passcode and encryption.
Third-Party Services
One Tap Focus does not integrate third-party advertising or analytics SDKs. It relies only on Apple (App Store, iCloud, notifications) and RevenueCat (in-app purchase management) to deliver and restore your purchase.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be reflected by the "Last updated" date above. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
