Biography

Dr Lui receives his B.Sc., M.Phil. and PhD in the Department of Computer Science at the University of Hong Kong. Before joining PolyU, he was an instructor in the Department of Computer Science in City University of Hong Kong from 2005 to 2009.

Dr Lui is currently a Senior Teaching Fellow in the Department of Computing in the Hong Kong Polytechnic University. He is the recipient of the Faculty Award (Teaching) for Outstanding Performance and Achievement (Team Award) for the academic year of 2021/22 and the Faculty Award for Outstanding Performance and Achievement in Teaching for the academic year of 2015/2016. His research interests include eLearning, Game Based Learning, Machine Learning and Data Analytics applications.
