Polymer  Materials  Lab

       Polymer Materials Lab at RGIPT was established in the year of 2010 with a new vision of research and development in the field of Polymer Chemistry and Material Research with an enthusiastic leadership of Dr. Umaprasana Ojha.

       Development of multifunctional polymer nano-composites, synthesis of block polymers and Covalent adaptable polymer networks, polymeric tough hydrogels, nanoparticle for environmental applications, sea-water electrolysis, flexible electronics and energy storage devices are our major area of research. Beside our conventional research-work, we are also involved in R&D activity for many Govt. agencies like DST, SERB, DAE, NTPC etc. and for some Industries like Innocule Materials and Additives Pvt. Ltd.

       Our lab also contributes to some social activities through "Project Amethi" and many more outreach-programs organised by RGIPT. It involves water quality assessment, development of water purification assembly, incubation center etc. for betterment of life at Amethi district.
