App: PolyCore
Package name: com.bgappsch.polycore
Developer: BG APPS CH
Last updated: 10 September 2026
THE SHORT VERSION
PolyCore has no accounts, no sign-in and no servers of its own. It does not upload your disc images, your BIOS file, your saves or anything else. The only data that leaves your device is what the Google Mobile Ads SDK collects in order to show ads, and only after you have been asked for consent.
WHAT POLYCORE STORES ON YOUR DEVICE
All of this stays on your device and is removed when you uninstall the app.
Your game library. The names and sizes of the .cue files in the folder you chose, plus each disc's region once you have played it, so the library list can be shown without rescanning every time.
Your BIOS file. The PlayStation BIOS image you import is copied into the app's private storage so that a moved or revoked folder permission cannot stop your games from starting. You supply this file yourself; PolyCore does not include one and cannot obtain one.
Save states and memory cards. Kept in the app's private storage. Save states are keyed to the contents of each disc, so renaming or moving a disc does not lose them. Memory cards are shared between all your games, exactly as a real PlayStation memory card is.
Your settings. Control layout positions, button mapping, scaling and orientation preferences.
PolyCore reads disc images only from the folder you explicitly grant access to, and only in order to run them. It never copies, uploads or transmits them.
WHAT POLYCORE DOES NOT DO
It does not include, search for, or download any game files or BIOS files.
It does not create an account or ask for any personal information.
It does not collect your name, email address, contacts, photos, location or messages.
It has no analytics or crash-reporting SDK.
ADVERTISING
PolyCore is free and supported by advertising through the Google Mobile Ads SDK. To show ads, Google may process your device's advertising ID and related technical information. This is used for advertising and measurement.
Before any ad is requested, PolyCore shows Google's consent form where required, for example in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom and Switzerland. You can change that choice at any time from About, then Advertising preferences, inside the app.
Ads are never shown over a running game.
Google's own handling of this data is described at https://policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites
You can reset or delete your advertising ID from your device's Android settings under Privacy, then Ads.
CHILDREN
PolyCore is not directed at children under 13.
PERMISSIONS
Internet. Used only to request ads.
Notifications. Used only for the ongoing "game running" notification, which keeps Android from treating emulation as idle background work and shutting it down mid-game.
Access to the folder you choose. Granted by you through Android's own folder picker, read-only, and revocable at any time from Android settings. PolyCore requests no broad storage permission.
TRADEMARKS
PlayStation is a trademark of Sony Interactive Entertainment Inc. PolyCore is an independent project and is not affiliated with, authorised by, or endorsed by Sony Interactive Entertainment. All game and console trademarks belong to their respective owners.
CHANGES
If this policy changes, the "last updated" date above changes with it.
