Main Objectives of the Conference

The conference panels explore the historical foundations and evolution of Europe’s legal culture, with a particular focus on the influence of Roman and canon law on modern legal systems. They address key developments such as advancements in human rights, the integration of EU law, and the challenges of harmonizing diverse legal traditions. Contemporary issues, including the impact of technology on law, cybersecurity, and the balance between globalization and shared European values, take center stage in the discussions. Collectively, the panels aim to deepen understanding and foster collaboration to shape the future of Europe’s legal culture in an increasingly globalized and digitalized world.
