“Generations: History grows in the Night” is a composite of many small paintings mostly on wood which together form a large installation type piece. It is an ongoing and developing project of which the dimensions and elements are variable.
“Generations” is about the mysterious connection between people throughout decades and time. A mysterious connection not only within families, but between people within society, groups etc. This connection can be good or bad or mixed. In a way “Generations” is a work about society.
Within society people seem to be like actors on a huge stage. What is their role, what are they transmitting and passing on from person to person? Things appear to be perpetuated throughout time among peoples within societies over generations, decades and centuries, the edifying good things as well as the traumas of horrors and tragedies which are spread and change over time, as they are spread by people towards other people. Passed on person to person good or bad or toxic, like social norms and continuous reduction of our freedoms today.
In this sense the work is also an indirect protest against all forms of oppression, which are also always done by people towards people.
"Generations: History grows in the Night "は、主に木に描かれた多くの小さなペインティングを組み合わせて、大きなインスタレーションタイプの作品を構成しています。この作品は現在進行中のプロジェクトで、サイズや要素は可変です。
「Generations "は、何十年、何百年という時間の中での人と人との不思議なつながりをテーマにしています。家族の中だけでなく、社会やグループの中での人と人との不思議なつながりです。このつながりは、良いものであったり、悪いものであったり、さまざまです。ジェネレーションズ』は、ある意味、社会についての作品でもあります。
社会の中では、人々は大きな舞台に立つ役者のようです。自分の役割は何なのか、人から人へ何を伝え、受け継いでいるのか。社会の中の人々の間では、何世代、何十年、何世紀にもわたって、物事が永続していくように見えます。啓発的な良いことも、恐怖や悲劇といったトラウマも、人々が他の人々に広めていくことで、時間とともに変化していきます。社会的な規範や今日の継続的な自由の縮小のように、良いものも悪いものも有害なものも、人から人へと受け継がれていきます。
この意味で、この作品は、あらゆる形態の抑圧に対する間接的な抗議でもあります。これらの抑圧は、常に人が人に向かって行うものです。

見えないゆえに大切な存在もあるはずです。2021年という今を共有する中で、「目に見えないけれど、可視化して伝えたいこと」は何でしょうか。
本展は、九州在住のアーティストの作品とともに、ギャラリーコレクションを紹介します。想像の余地から生まれる豊かな世界を感じていただけたら幸いです。

即興的にgallery EUREKAエウレカギャラリーのグループ展示 「コレクション展」に参加することなりました。
今回はドローイングの新作を展示してます。

「ナッシング」インスタレーション ポル マロ
"Nothing" installation with sound by Pol Malo
A visual and auditory essay on unrest, time, calm, the mechanisms and rythms of people and society, and the struggle for individual and collective freedom. The exhibition is an indirect protest against the inhumanity of modern life.
Possible thematic keywords are:
society as text (signifiers, discourse);
society as consciousness;
the theatricality of life;
a sense of contemporary urgency;
painting social constellations;
between figuartive and conceptual; consciousness as space and time in a philosophical sense but also as very human and social.
ポル・マロによる絵画作品を軸に、音を使用したインスタレーション。
不安、時間、落ち着き、人々と社会のメカニズムとリズム、そして個人と集団の自由のための闘争を視覚、聴覚表現を用い、エッセイ(散文的な意識を入れた表現)として現しました。この展覧会は「現代社会の非人間性」に対する間接的な抗議です。
展覧会を鑑賞するにあたり、鍵となる言葉を下記に記します。
テキストとしての社会（記号的表現、談話）
意識としての社会。
人生の演劇性。
現代の切迫感。
社会的な星座を描く。
比喩と概念の間。
哲学的な意味での空間と時間としての意識だけでなく、非常に人間的で社会的な意識。

7月に延期されてたグループ展示は9月10日ー23日なりました
art space tetra
art space tetra 福岡における新型コロナの感染者が２日連続（7/21,22）で過去最多確認された状況を受け、展覧会を9月開催へと延期することになりました。具体的な時期が決まり次第お知らせします。
九州フラグメンツとは、福岡在住のアーティスト、また最近福岡に越してきたアーティストらによる緩やかな集まりです。それぞれに異なるテーマや制作手法、ネットワークを持つアーティストが、多くの離島によって形成される九州という地盤が持つ多層性に呼応するかのように集いました。それぞれのフラグメント（かけら）を重ねることで、この場所に根付いたアクティビティとして、九州における表現の現在を表出させながら、ネットワークを国内外に拡張していきます。第一回目の活動として「ワイ、ノット？」と題した展覧会を開催します。WHY NOT?が持つ “なぜいけないのか、いいではないか、よかろう、そうしよう” という意味以外にも、方言としてのワイ（わたし）や、祭の掛け声としてのワッショイ（ヘブライ語で＝『神がきた！』）、そして英語のKnot／ノット（結び目・つなぎ目）の意味が込められています.
