Pollinator Paradise Partners
Pollinator Paradise Partners meet regularly to plan, maintain, and otherwise care for the Pollinator Pardise gardens and prairie. This group consists of Givens-affiliated families, staff, Missouri Master Naturalists, and other interested community members with an interest in Pollinator Paradise's future, and is currently a committee of the Givens PTO.
Pollinator Paradise Maintenance Schedule
Pollinator Paradise Partners have monthly workdays at the garden. All workdays are from 9-11am unless otherwise specified. Here is the 2023 schedule:

April 22 Earth Day in Paradise (9am-12pm)

Pollinator Paradise Maintenance Activities
We welcome any time you have to offer Pollinator Paradise! Here is a short list of activities that regularly need doing:
Clean edges of the beds
Remove gravel from beds
Remove invasive or aggressive plants (see below), any small trees from the beds or the prairie
Move large branches to stream edge
Make one pile of debris to be removed
Pick up trash
Catchweed Bedstraw
Field Bindweed
Jewel Weed (move to stream edge)
Common Grape
Winter Creeper
Common invasive
Bush Honeysuckle
Common invasive
