“A progressive plan which not only aims to aggressively tackle climate change but also encompasses many other issues like social justice, jobs, housing and health care”(Benardelli,2020).
States that the government needs to take a stronger stance on these pressing issues and presents a list of ways in which this can be done.

Renewable energy- “meeting 100 percent of the power demand in the United States through clean, renewable, and zero-emission energy sources” renewable energy sources currently make up about 20 percent of US energy production whereas natural gas accounts for 32 percent and coal 30 percent.
“Working to ensure affordable access to electricity” want to reimagine the electrical grid so that reliability and efficiency can be improved upon.
Energy efficiency- “upgrading all existing buildings in the US and building new buildings to achieve maximal energy efficiency….”
Transportation- “ overhauling transportation systems in the united states to eliminate pollution and greenhouse gas emissions from the transportation sector as much as is technologically feasible”.
