Marble Restoration

First off, what is marble polishing? Marble polishing is a method for making marble floors brighter, especially when the marble floor becomes opaque or yellowed over time. 

There are a number of ways to polish marble, but the most common is using a power buffer with a special polishing compound.

The power buffer helps to quickly remove any surface dirt or buildup, and the polishing compound contains abrasives that will help to restore the shine to the marble floor.

This marble treatment should be done every one to three years to keep your marble floors shiny and remove any stretches done over the years by removing the worn layer and obtaining the smooth layer underneath.

The process is done by sanding the marble with thin disks so the marble isn't harmed and after the sanding is done certain chemicals are poured to the marble to bring back the shine.

The processing time depends on the amount of marble but the part that takes the most amount of time is waiting for the chemicals to dry at the end.
