Hi everyone. Welcome to my website!!

This is P. Rohith.  Currently, working as Post-doctoral researcher with Prof. Cedric Mastail and Prof. Gregory Adibas, Department of Materials Physics and Mechanics (DPMM), University of Poitiers, Poitiers, France. Most of my research work will focus on understanding and developing the energetic deposition process and intrinisic stresses developed during the process with the aid of kinetic Monte carlo simulations.

Prior to this position, I had worked as postdoc with Prof. Dan Mordehai, Assoc. Prof, Faculty of Mechanical Engineering, Technion Israel Institute of Technology, Haifa, Israel. My research focussesd on the understanding the statistical deformation and failure behavior of twinned Au/Ag nanowires with the aid of molecular dynamics  (MD) simulations.

I had completed my Ph.D. dissertation in Engineering Sciences from Homi Bhabha National Institute (HBNI), Kalpakkam. My principle investigation during my Ph.D. tenure focuses on understanding the deformation behaviour of single and poly crystalline FCC Cu nanowires/nanoapillars using atomistic simulations.  My other research interests include the deformation behaviour of nanopillars with defects such as twin boundaries.
