4. Use of TrueDepth API
We take your privacy and personal data security very seriously. To ensure transparency, we'd like to explain the data processing practices involved in this app's use of Apple's TrueDepth API.
4.1 Types of Information Collected
When you use certain augmented reality (AR), facial recognition, or other related features of this app, we process the following categories of information in real time through the device's TrueDepth camera and the corresponding APIs:
Facial geometry: such as facial topology and expression parameters (BlendShapes, such as mouth opening, smiling, and eyebrow raising).
Depth data: Depth map information (AVDepthData) used to calculate the spatial position and distance of facial features.
We solemnly promise that we do not collect, store, or upload your facial recognition biometric data (such as raw data or mathematical models used for Face ID authentication) through the TrueDepth API. All processing is intended to obtain non-personally identifiable geometric data necessary to implement the functionality.
4.2 Purpose of Information Use
We use the above information for the following purposes only:
Providing you with augmented reality (AR) experiences, such as enabling virtual try-ons, AR filters, animated emojis (Animoji), or other special effects.
Facial motion capture to enable in-app avatars or characters to mimic your expressions.
Improving and optimizing the performance and accuracy of the above features.
All of this processing is typically performed locally on the device in real time. We do not use this data for user identification, user profiling, marketing, or advertising.
4.3 Data Storage and Sharing
Data Storage: Facial data processed via the TrueDepth API is processed only in real time in the device's memory and is not stored on the device's local file system, our servers, or any cloud storage.
Data Sharing: We do not share any facial data processed via the TrueDepth API with any third party. This data will not be sold, rented, or provided in any form to other companies, organizations, or individuals.
4.4 User Controls and Choices
You can manage the granting or revoking of camera permissions for this app at any time through your device's system settings. Please note that disabling camera permissions will prevent us from providing features that rely on the TrueDepth API.
4.5 Data Security
We employ industry-standard technical and organizational measures to protect all data transmission and processing. For TrueDepth API-related data, we adhere to the principles of data minimization and local processing to maximize your privacy.
4.6 Policy Updates
We may update these Supplemental Terms from time to time to reflect feature changes or legal requirements. Any significant changes will be notified prominently within the app.

Our Service may contain links to other websites that are not operated by Us. We have no control over and assume no responsibility for the content, privacy policies or practices of any third-party sites or services.

User Consent Regarding Data Processing for Refund Requests
In accordance with the App Store's refund policy, when a user initiates a refund request, our servers receive a notification from Apple. In this context, we provide Apple with data related to the user's subscription to assist Apple in making a refund decision.
