This Privacy Policy explains how PDF Editor Plus AI Writing PRO (referred to as “PDF Editor Plus”, “the app”, “we”, “us”, or “our”) handles information when you use the application.
Our approach: PDF Editor Plus is designed to work locally on your device whenever possible. We do not sell your personal information, document content, API keys, or files.
The app may access PDF files, images, and other files only after you select them through Android’s system document or media picker. This lets you open PDFs, create PDFs from images, render pages, print, or share files.
The current app foundation does not request broad storage access. Access granted through Android’s Storage Access Framework is limited to the items you select. We do not upload selected files to our servers by default.
To provide Recent Documents and Favorites, the app may store limited local metadata such as a selected document URI, display name, file size when provided by Android, favorite status, and last-opened time. This information is stored locally on your device.
Text entered in the AI Writer remains on your device unless you later choose to configure and use a cloud AI provider. In the current version, AI providers are not connected and the app does not send AI prompts, document text, or writing input to OpenAI, Google Gemini, or any other AI service.
API-key fields in the current version are session-only. The app does not persist these keys, include them in exported PDFs, or log them. If future versions add cloud AI support, the app will request or honor your consent before sending content to a cloud provider and this policy will be updated as required.
The app includes an optional camera permission for a future document-scanning workflow. Camera permission is requested only when you explicitly choose to enable it in Settings. Document scanning is not implemented in the current version, and the app does not use the camera without your permission.
The app may create temporary local files or cached page renders while opening, creating, or processing documents. You can clear temporary app files from Settings. Temporary files may also be removed by Android when storage space is needed.

We do not use your document contents for advertising, profiling, or sale.
We do not share your documents or personal information with third parties by default. When you use Android’s Share or Print action, Android sends the selected file to the app, service, printer, or destination you choose. Those third parties handle information under their own privacy policies.

The app uses Android’s system picker rather than requesting broad access to all files or all photos. You control which individual files or images you select.
The current version does not request notification permission. If future background job notifications are introduced, permission will be requested only when necessary.
We use Android platform protections, app-private storage where appropriate, and the Storage Access Framework to reduce unnecessary access. No method of electronic storage or transmission is completely secure, so please protect your device and avoid sharing sensitive files through untrusted services.
You may remove documents from the app’s local library, clear recent history, and clear temporary files using the app’s Settings. Removing a document from the app library does not delete the original file from your device or cloud storage provider. You can revoke file access through Android or your storage provider at any time.
PDF Editor Plus is not directed to children under the age required by applicable law to consent to data processing. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
The current version does not integrate cloud storage, analytics, advertising SDKs, crash reporting services, or connected AI provider APIs. If a future version adds third-party services, we will identify the service, describe the relevant data handling, and update this Privacy Policy before or when the new processing is made available.
We may update this Privacy Policy to reflect changes to the app, applicable law, or data practices. The effective date at the top of this page will show when the policy was last revised. Please review this policy periodically.
