Please read this Privacy Policy carefully before using Bible Daily: Easy Read & Study.
Bidle lets you read the Bible right in the App, even offline. We do not require an account, we do not collect the content you read, and we do not sell your personal information.
This Privacy Policy explains what information Bible Daily: Easy Read & Study (the "App") uses, why, and the choices you have. The App is provided by XSoft ("we," "us," or "our"). By using the App, you agree to the practices described here. This policy should be read together with our Terms of Use.
No account required. You do not need to create an account, sign in, or give us your name, email address, or phone number to use the App.
Reading in the App. The Bible text is included in the App and can be read without an internet connection. We do not collect which books, chapters, or verses you read.
App settings. Basic settings, such as font size, theme, reminder time, and your last reading position, are stored only on your device so the App can remember them. They are not sent to us.
Information from third-party services. The App uses a small number of third-party services for purchases, analytics, crash reporting, and, with your permission, advertising measurement. These services may collect limited technical information when your device is online, as described in Sections 3 to 5.
The App asks for each permission below only when needed. Both are optional.
Notifications. If you allow notifications, the App can send reminders you set, such as a daily reading reminder. Reminders are scheduled on your device, and their content is not sent to us.
App Tracking Transparency (ATT). The App may ask for permission to track your activity across apps and websites owned by other companies. If you tap "Allow," we and our measurement partners, such as Google Analytics for Firebase, may use your device's advertising identifier (IDFA) to measure how our marketing campaigns perform, for example, which ad led you to install the App. If you tap "Ask App Not to Track," we do not access your IDFA or track you across other companies' apps and websites. The App works the same either way.
Changing permissions. You can change these permissions at any time in Settings > Notifications > Bidle and in Settings > Privacy & Security > Tracking.
Location. The App does not request access to your device's location services and does not track your location.
The App offers optional paid features through Apple in-app purchase. All payments are processed by Apple through your Apple Account.
We never receive or store your credit card number, bank details, or billing address. Through Apple's StoreKit, we receive only the transaction and subscription status needed to unlock paid features and restore your purchases on a new or reinstalled device.
You can view, manage, or cancel subscriptions at any time in Settings > [your name] > Subscriptions. For how Apple handles payment information, see Apple's Privacy Policy.
We use Google Analytics for Firebase and Firebase Crashlytics to understand how the App is used and to fix crashes. When your device is online, these services may collect:
device model, operating system version, app version, and language settings;
approximate region derived from your IP address;
screens opened, features used, and session length;
a pseudonymous app instance identifier;
crash logs, including the date, time, and technical state of the App when an error happened.
This information does not include the passages you read. We use it only to fix problems and improve the App. We do not link it to your identity, and we use it for advertising measurement only if you allow tracking (see Section 2).
We work with the following providers to run the App. They may process limited information only to perform services for us and are not allowed to use it for other purposes.
Apple (App Store, StoreKit)
Google Analytics for Firebase
Firebase Crashlytics
Selling, ads, and tracking. We do not sell your personal information, and the App does not show ads. We track your activity across other companies' apps and websites only if you allow it through App Tracking Transparency. You can change that choice at any time in Settings > Privacy & Security > Tracking.
On your device. App settings stay on your device until you delete the App, which removes them.
Analytics and crash data. Firebase keeps this data under its own retention settings. To ask us to delete data collected through these services, email [support email] with the subject "Data Deletion Request." We will respond within 30 days.
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, or restrict the use of your personal information, to object to its processing, to data portability, and to withdraw consent.
EEA and UK residents have these rights under the GDPR and UK GDPR. You also have the right to complain to your local data protection authority.
California residents have similar rights under the CCPA/CPRA, including the right to know, delete, and opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information. We do not sell personal information. If you allowed tracking, you can withdraw that permission at any time in Settings > Privacy & Security > Tracking.
To make a request, contact us at [support email]. We will not treat you differently for exercising your rights.
International transfers. Our service providers, including Google and Apple, may process information in the United States and other countries. Where required, these transfers are protected by safeguards such as Standard Contractual Clauses.
We use commercially reasonable measures to protect information. However, no method of electronic storage or transmission is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
The App is suitable for a general audience but is not directed to children under 13 (or under 16 in the EEA and UK). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided personal information through the App, contact us at [support email] and we will take steps to delete it.
The App may contain links to third-party websites. We do not operate these sites and are not responsible for their content or privacy practices. Please review their privacy policies before sharing any information with them.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will post the updated version in the App or on our website and change the effective date above. For material changes, we will give reasonable notice, such as an in-app message.
