Alcohol & Drugs Policy Auckley Show
The Auckley Show pride themselves on being a family friendly event, we have a zero-tolerance policy on drugs though this has never been an issue before.
All laws related to Drugs and Alcohol within the United Kingdom are applicable within the grounds of the Auckley Show. No person will be allowed to enter the show if deemed to be possession of an illegal substance. South Yorkshire Police require that no customers carrying opened bottles upon entry shall be admitted, drinks may not be removed outside of the perimeter of the event site.
To ensure assistance and welfare of the attendees there will be an information stand visible for the public to access with any concerns throughout the show. There will also be a First Aid department available throughout the day if needed, which will also be clearly visible to the public.
The committee members and bar staff maintain the right to disallow the sale of alcohol if it feels it’s inappropriate. A "Challenge 25" scheme will be operated when selling alcohol.
In order the prevent crime and disorder anyone suspected of being drunk and disorderly and/or in the possession of drugs will be asked to leave the premises and refused re-entry to the show. Emergency services will be called if the situation is deemed beyond our capability.
