For pole dance classes, it’s best to wear shorts and a tank top or sports bra to allow your skin to grip the pole. For aerial hoop and aerial yoga, fitted leggings and a top that covers your midriff will protect your skin from the apparatus. Avoid lotions and jewelry, as they can make it difficult to grip.
