About Me
I have received a Bachelor of Science from Physics Department at Gazi University in 2011. Between 2012 and 2015, I have received a Master of Science from the Graduate School of Natural and Applied Sciences with the title of " Electron transport properties of InGaN and GaN quantum well InAlN/GaN high electron mobility transistor". I completed doctoral studies on the Growth and characterization of ZnO and MgZnO crystals grown by the Mist Chemical Vapor Deposition (Mist-CVD) method. I'm working as Lecturer at Center Research Laboratory Application and Research Center in Ankara Yıldırım Beyazıt University. I also continue in the Low-Dimensional Materials & Systems Research Group in the Physics Department of Gazi University.
I closely related with the growth of ZnO-based nanomaterials and their optoelectronic properties. Currently, I study electronic, optic, and structural calculations of wide bandgap low-dimensional materials using Quantum ATK based on Density Functional Theory (DFT). Especially, Graphene-like two-dimensional (2D) materials for example; ZnO monolayer, Black Phosphorus, InSe, and one-dimensional (1D) materials, ribbons, wires etc.. Also, I'm working on 1D Schrödinger-Poisson calculations of GaN or ZnO based heterostructures like MgZnO/ZnO or InAlN/GaN and theirs hybrid heterostructures like GaN/ZnO.
Also, I am open to collaboration to study low-dimensional materials experimentally or theoretically.
