Effective 24 September 2026 · Applies to the Polarity app for Android (com.polarity.app)
Polarity is a tilt puzzle game made by CodeXpirit ("we", "us"). It is made for players of all ages, including children under 13, so we built it to the strictest children's privacy rules that apply to it rather than the minimum. This policy explains, in plain terms, what happens to data when you play.
We do not ask for any personal information. There are no accounts, no sign-in, no names, emails or photos.
Your game progress stays on your phone. We never receive it.
The game is free and has ads. Ads are provided by Google AdMob, are set to be suitable for children, and are never personalised.
There is nothing to buy in this version of the game.
Polarity saves your progress (levels cleared, objectives, charge points, powers) and your settings (colour scheme, sound, haptics and accessibility options) in a file on your phone. This file is never sent to us or to anyone else, and it is not included in your Google account's cloud backup.
To control the game, Polarity reads your phone's motion sensors while you play. These readings are used only to move the balls on screen. They are never stored and never leave your device.
Polarity shows ads through Google AdMob, a service of Google LLC. We have set up every ad request so that it is:
child-directed — treated under the US Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA);
for users under the age of consent — treated under the EU and UK rules for children;
rated G — only ads suitable for general audiences;
non-personalised — ads are chosen from the content of the app, not from a profile of you.
To show ads, measure them and prevent fraud, the Google Mobile Ads software inside the app automatically collects the following from your device and sends it to Google. We do not receive this data and cannot see it.
IP address — Your internet address, which can be used to estimate a general location such as a country or city. Used for: advertising, analytics, fraud prevention.
App interactions — Such as the app being opened and ads being viewed or tapped. Used for: advertising, analytics, fraud prevention.
Diagnostics — Technical information such as app launch time and performance. Used for: advertising, analytics, fraud prevention.
Device identifiers — Identifiers such as the app set ID, which recognise an app installation rather than a person. Used for: advertising, analytics, fraud prevention.
We have configured Polarity so that it does not give AdMob access to your phone's Android Advertising ID. This data is sent over encrypted connections. How Google uses it is described in Google's Privacy Policy and in How Google uses information from sites or apps that use our services.
Ads never appear while a level is being played. Rewarded ads, which give extra time or an extra life, are always optional; waiting is always available instead.
We do not knowingly collect personal information from children, or from anyone. Polarity has no chat, no sharing, no social features and no way to contact other players. Apart from the ads themselves, it contains no links to websites or other apps.
If you are a parent or guardian and have a question about your child's use of Polarity, contact us at the address below.
Internet and network state — To load ads. The game itself plays offline.
Vibration — For haptic feedback, which you can turn off in Settings.
Google Play billing — Reserved for a possible future "remove ads" option. No purchases are available in this version.
Polarity does not use your camera, microphone, contacts, photos, files or precise location.
Your progress and settings stay on your phone until you remove them. You can erase your progress at any time in Settings → Progress → Reset, or remove everything by uninstalling the app.
Data collected by Google for advertising is handled under Google's policies linked above. Because we never receive it, we cannot view or delete it for you; Google's privacy controls apply.
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct or delete personal data, or to object to how it is used — for example under the GDPR in the EU and UK, or the CCPA in California. Since we do not collect personal data ourselves, there is usually nothing for us to provide, but you are welcome to contact us with any request and we will respond.
We do not sell personal information.
If this policy changes, we will update it here and change the effective date at the top. If a change affects what data is collected, we will say so in the app's update notes.
