PokerNow HUD Advanced privacy policy

PokerNow HUD Advanced is a browser extension that shows statistics and notes about opponents on PokerNow tables. It is not affiliated with PokerNow. This policy explains what it collects, where it goes and how to delete it.
What the extension records
• The game log of PokerNow tables you open: players' PokerNow usernames and IDs, their actions and bets, and cards shown at showdown.
• Statistics and notes derived from those hands, notes you write, your settings, and your own PokerNow ID.
All of this is stored in your browser, in the extension's own storage.
What leaves your browser
• AI notes. When a hand reveals something about a player, the extension sends that hand to our server with table positions in place of names, together with a summary of what that player did, the notes you already have on them and their long-run statistics. The server asks two AI providers, TypeSafe (to check whether the hand is worth a note) and Anthropic (to write it), and returns the note to your browser. The AI providers receive only that content.
• Backup. Unless you turn it off in the popup, the extension saves an encrypted copy of recent changes to your database: recorded game logs, hands, players' usernames and IDs, statistics and notes. The copy is sent after every hand, and along with AI note requests. It is stored with our cloud database provider so your data can be restored or moved later. The extension never reads it back.
• Feedback. If you send feedback, we receive your message, the email you add (optional) and, if you leave diagnostics on, the extension version, your browser, counts and error codes. Diagnostics never include hands, notes or player names.
• An anonymous ID for each browser, so the server can apply daily limits and keep each browser's backup separate.
Requests travel over HTTPS, and their contents are also encrypted so that only our server can read them.
With AI notes and the backup turned off, the extension sends nothing except feedback you choose to send.
What we don't do
We don't sell or share your data, show ads, track the websites you visit, or use your data for anything other than running PokerNow HUD Advanced.
Keeping and deleting your data
• Uninstalling the extension, or choosing Delete everything under Player database → Data, removes the data stored in your browser.
• To delete your backup and feedback from the server, email wraithroltz@gmail.com with your PokerNow username.
• We keep server data until you ask us to delete it or the service shuts down.
Children
PokerNow HUD Advanced is meant for adults and isn't directed at anyone under 18.
Changes
If this policy changes, we'll update this page and its effective date.
