5-card poker or 5-card draw is similar to other forms of poker where each player has to try to form the best five-card poker hand combination. Like the rest of the poker variants, the following is the list of hand rankings (from high to low):

  • Royal Flush

  • High Card

During pre-flop speculation, there are two different methods in online poker. Either all players pay an ante before receiving their cards, or there is a small and a big blind. According to the 5-card poker rules, each player gets five cards to face down after paying the blinds. The round of speculation occurs, and if more than one player remains after the first round, another draw occurs. Each player replaces their cards from the ones in the deck and starts contributing. The showdown occurs where the best five-card poker hand wins.

3-card poker has gained popularity because it is not only fun but also easy to learn. Players can play against the dealer and win based on their card combinations. The player places an ante or a pair plus wager, with contribution that they have a hand of a pair or better.

Three cards then get dealt face down to each player and the dealer. Players play only against the dealer and not their opponents at the table. The player will then look at the hand and decide to place a play wager to pit the hand against the dealer’s hand or not. The best strategy says you should “play” all hands greater than Queen, Six and Four and fold all hands worse.

If a player folds, the hand is over, and the dealer will collect the player’s ante wager and pair plus wager. If the you place a play wager, the cards flip for determining if you have a decent hand than the dealer.

If they have a Jack-high or worse, the play wager goes back to the player. If the dealer has a Queen or better, the play wager and the ante get paid out at 1 to 1. If the dealer’s hand is superior, both the ante and play contributions are collected. The pair plus contribution is independent of what the dealer has.

The 3-card poker rules have a set of poker payouts, which depends on which card combination each of the players has. Following is the order of poker payouts:
