The story is interesting, it's technically equal to vanilla Fire Red except it has some changes, there are 2 Rivals (the one u name and Green). they have sort of similar teams whereas they usually have the opposite of a pokemon (Green has Nidoqueen and the other one Nidoking p.e.). Another big part of the story change is that Giovanni's son named Kamon is trying to stop Team Rocket from finishing a weapon called The Devil's Prism. Team Rocket is also a lot more agressive this time around and gets darker in certain moments. but all in all it's still a decent story with some new fights.

3) Plot: Let's just introduce like 4 rivals, shove in Ash, Brock and Misty, get a storyline based on a mysterious pokemon-entity that just brainwashes EVERYONE for the reason of conquering the world and spreading chaos, for chaos itself and there we go.

It feels clumsily made, plot has huge holes and everything seems to be designed to give the feel of a hard game. I don't get why a battle vs a boss would be with level 75 pokemons, while the wild mons of that area are only level 40. How can you even grind up for that.

Honestly I hate this game.I was okay with the grinding.I even bought a magikarp and trained it to gyrados and had a full team from early area.But this game has too many bugs,many abilities don't work.But then I saw youtube video where the player used a full team of legendaries to beat the final boss then I lost all interest in this game.The final boss had a full team of level 100 all mega pokemons and a fake pokemon with a very fake move.That is the one reason I never play rom hack because most of them just increase the levels of the opponent with a weird and bad story.

I was unable to fight it, because every time I would choose one of Scyther's moves, it would say "Scyther is too scared to move".

I finally made it to Viridian City, or at least a dark green, dimly lit version. As soon as I stepped foot into the town, a text box popped up that said "VIRIDIAN CITY - STAY FOREVER AND ENJOY THE GYM". What the fuck? Stay forever, enjoy the gym?

I found my character inside darkness. The gym was pitch black. I had Scyther use FLASH, and the room became dimly lit with a dark green tint as I had expected. The gym was nothing like the complicated maze it was in Red. Here, it was just a small room. At the tip of the room was what looked like Giovanni. I walked over to him and hit the A button.

The invisible became visible. The Pokmon was none other than a Scyther, but a darker version, much like the dark green tint cast over the town. The sprite was also strange. I can only describe it as sinister - evil looking I guess. We fought. My moves didn't miss this time, but they did little damage to a level 100 Scyther. The dark version of my Pokmon now knew the moves of my Pokmon as well, and after using CUT twice, my Pokmon was defeated. Giovanni came on the screen and said once more "I am sorry."

The cartridge contained no Nintendo logo and it had a dark background with what seemed to be Red in front of the darkness, but his eyes were hiding and a smile was present on the bottom of his face. He was wearing dark red clothing and grey pants with his cap.

That weirded me out. Also the town seemed foggy and dark. As I walked through the town I found a Poke ball and grabbed it. It had a Mew inside called Ivy. It was the only Pokemon I was able to obtain in-game.

This time i choose to attack it with Morph and my mew morphed into the ghost pokemon like in the myths and she attacked with curse pikachu fainted and i received 40 hp and 200 poke dollars my Mew leveled up.

A dark shadowy being came out of Red and it showed his large mouth with red, sharp teeth. Its eyes were green and red. The floating creature let out a high-pitched scream that sounded like all the Pokemon screams combined.
