01 / THE AUSTRALIAN CONTEXT
Legal first.
Everything else second.
A polished website is not a licence. Before using an online wagering service, check its trading name, company and website against the Australian regulator's current register.
Sports wagering and online casinos are different.
Licensed pre-event sports wagering may be offered in Australia. Providing online casino games for money, or online in-play sports betting, to people in Australia is prohibited. An overseas licence does not change that.
