As NFT artist called Pointillist

Janis was graduate Latvian school of Art in age of 15. He was study in LatvianAcademy of Arts from 1998 - 2001. He was published in top printed media (newspapers, jornals, books) and was take a part of painting exhibitions. In 2006 He was one of the winers in World Ice Hockey Championship logo competition.

His inspiration lies in puantillism, M.C. Eschers art, provocative graphic designs and the cyberpunk graphic. His style tries to combine definition and realistic details with some free hand elements, trying to maintain a monochromatic palette with coloured accents.

Artist work is versatile, he’s not defined by a single style, always looking to try different styles and media, which has allowed he to play with NFT brands such as Boring Apes, Meebits, Dodlles and among others.

All NFTs is hand drawing in beginning, after Artist work with Adobe Photoshop. He’s sketches is collected in seperate list of images on Opensea called - Graphic Boring Ape Sketches.

Hes current Opensea listed collection Graphic Boring Apes is dedicated to famous BAYC collection. Artist playing in very light and emotional style with all 100 characters. Each of them saturate something from Artist personal life expieriances and is deep personal. For example New Year 2021 artist was celebrate in Paris, and London was He’s home more then 5 years from 2013 - 2018. Now Artist working on Boring Dogs Poker House collection which will very close colerate with Apes collection.

Currently Artist lives in Riga (capital of Latvia) and is active member of Latvian Crypto community.
