A Real Bouquet
Author Unknown
Everybody has two eyes
Bright as stars they shine
But their color may not be
Just the same as mine.
Brown or blue, gray or green
What difference does it make?
As long as you can see the sun
Shining when you wake
Some folks' hair is very black
Some have blonde or brown
Whatever color it may be
It's a pretty crown
Flowers have so many shades
And I'm sure you know
Many lovely gardens
Where such flowers grow
Children in this great big world
Are flowers in a way
Some are light, some are dark
Like a real bouquet
Did you ever stop to think
How awful it would be
If everybody looked the same
Who would know you from me?

Best friends stick together till the end,
They are like a straight line that will not bend.
They trust each other forever,
No matter if you're apart you are together.
They can be your hero and save the day,
They will never leave your side they are here to stay.
They help you up when you fall,
Your true friends are best of all.
I am not perfect I make mistakes.
I am not one who can do anything, and everything.
But I’
m still me.
I like who i am without anybodies comments.
I have gotten past bullying because i am tough
I have done a great job on state test.
I have done a great job at video games.
I have said some bad things in the past.
I have gone crazy because of a few minor things.
I have gone mad by little kids.
But I am still me.
Me and perfect for myself!
I'm Waiting For A Rainbow
I'm waiting for a rainbow,
I'm waiting for the sun.
I'm waiting for the rain to stop
So I can play and run.
I know I should be patient,
But waiting's such a pain.
I guess I'll have to pass the time
Appreciating rain.

A smile is cheer from you to me,
the cost is nothing its given for free.
They console the weary and gladden the sad.
And can make someone happy when they are mad.
Unlike blessings in which we pray
its the only thing you keep when you give it away.
Mistakes Can Be Good
Mistakes can be good.
They can help you grow.
They can show you what you need to know.
So whenever you make a mistake,
Just say:
"Now I'll try another way."

Don't Say Crybaby!
Don't say "Crybaby!"
Don't say "Dummy!"
Teasing makes me
Feel so crummy.
Falling down
Can bruise my knees,
But words can hurt
Where no one sees.

A Different Language
Author Unknown
I met a little girl
Who came from another land.
I couldn't speak her language
but I took her by the hand.
We danced together,
Had such fun
Dancing is a language
You can speak with everyone.
It's hard to say, "I'm sorry,"
Although I'm feeling sorry.
The "s" always sticks in my throat.
And, "I made a big mistake"
Would produce a bellyache
That might last till I was old enough to vote.
"Please forgive me" sounds real good.
And I'd say it if I could,
But, between the "forgive" and the "please"
I would have to go to bed
With a pounding in my head
And a very shaky feeling in my knees.
"I was wrong" seems oh so right.
But it gives me such a fright
That my "was" always turns into "ain't."
So I hope you'll take this rhyme
As my way of saying "I'm
Really sorry." Now excuse me while I faint.

I am Somebody!
I'm a peacemaker, not a troublemaker
I'm friendly, kind, and forgiving
I'm strong and willing
Teach me and I'll learn
Help me and I'll grow
I am somebody!
I Can't Move It
I can't move it,
You can't move it,
It won't move an inch.
But if we work together,
Moving it's a cinch.

Different Folks
The kids I know are really neat
One's named Sue and One's named Pete,
Some of them are big and round
Some I know are upside down!
I know some kids, black and white,
Some are sad and some are bright,
Some are short and some are tall.
There are those, but that's not all!
I knew a polka dotted kid!
You think I'm kidding, but I did!
I knew a green kid for a day!
But, her green went away!
The Hardest Thing
If you think that the hardest thing is saying you're wrong
when you've been wrong,
I think you should know
That the really hardest thing is, when you've been absolutely
right,
Not saying nyah, nyah, nyah, I told you so.

Don’t let today’s troubles
Bring you down,
Or allow you to question
Your ability
Don’t let life’s little obstacles
Keep you from trying,
Or become the reason
For defeat
Don’t let your fears
Keep you from dreaming,
Or from chasing
your dream
Don’t give up for any reason
Believe in yourself,
And in yourself
You’ll find strength
Today I had a Rotten Day
Ken Nesbitt
Today I had a rotten day.
As I was coming in from play
I accidentally stubbed my toes
and tripped and fell and whacked my nose.
I chipped a tooth. I cut my lip.
I scraped my knee. I hurt my hip.
I pulled my shoulder, tweaked my ear,
and got a bruise upon my rear.
I banged my elbow, barked my shin.
A welt is forming on my chin.
My pencil poked me in the thigh.
I got an eyelash in my eye.
I sprained my back. I wrenched my neck.
I'm feeling like a total wreck.
So that's the last time I refuse
when teacher says to tie my shoes.
