If you want a dedicated, high-speed charging solution for your older Beats wireless headphones and Pill speakers, choose Podokas USB Charger Compatible; if you need a versatile 2-in-1 adapter that lets you listen to high-fidelity audio while fast-charging a modern smartphone or laptop via USB-C, choose Jadebones USB C.
As an audiophile who has spent years navigating the shifting landscape of connectivity standards, I know the frustration of finding gear that actually respects your sound quality while keeping your devices powered. The market is flooded with generic cables that promise everything but deliver mediocre performance, especially when you are trying to maintain the integrity of your music library on the go. This comparison isn't about which gadget costs less or which one has more five-star reviews; it is about matching the right hardware to your specific listening environment and device generation. One product is a specialized tool designed to breathe new life into established Bluetooth headsets, while the other is a bridge connecting legacy analog audio to the digital future of portable power. Understanding this fundamental difference in design philosophy is the only way to make a confident purchase without wasting money on incompatible gear.
• Podokas USB Charger Compatible: Delivers rapid 10W charging for older Beats devices using a proprietary micro-USB interface, but offers zero versatility for modern USB-C ecosystems.
• Jadebones USB C: Provides a dual-function 2-in-1 connection for simultaneous 3.5mm audio and 100W fast charging on modern devices, but lacks any compatibility with legacy Beats charging ports.
• Who should buy Podokas: Audiophiles owning pre-2018 Beats Solo, Studio, Powerbeats, or Pill models who have lost their original chargers and need a reliable replacement.
• Who should buy Jadebones: Listeners with modern smartphones or laptops lacking headphone jacks who refuse to compromise on audio output or charging speed while traveling.
The Podokas unit is not a general-purpose cable; it is a precision-engineered replacement part designed specifically for a niche of beloved audio equipment that is no longer manufactured. If you own a pair of Beats Solo 3, Powerbeats 3, or even the classic Beats Pill speaker, you likely face the dreaded "charging port failure" scenario where the original cord is lost, frayed, or simply too expensive to find officially. This charger addresses that pain point directly by utilizing a built-in safe and quick charging chip that delivers up to 10 watts of power at 5 volts and 2 amps. That is twice the speed of ordinary cables found in most electronics bundles, meaning your headphones spend less time tethered to a wall and more time delivering the rich bass and crisp highs you expect from the brand.

What sets this apart from generic third-party options is its attention to the physical connector. Many cheap cables fail because they use standard micro-USB plugs that do not fit the proprietary ports on Beats devices securely. Podokas uses a specific two-pin configuration that matches the original cable geometry exactly, ensuring a snug fit that prevents intermittent disconnections during movement. Whether you are running through a workout routine with Powerbeats or setting up a party playlist with a Beats Pill, the aluminum alloy shell and PVC flame retardant material provide durability that withstands daily tangles and drops. The data transmission capability of 480 Mbps ensures that pairing and sync functions remain stable alongside the power delivery.
However, this product has a hard boundary regarding compatibility. It is strictly for older generations of Beats products that utilize the micro-USB charging port. It will not work with the H1 chip versions released after 2018, which switched to Lightning connectors, nor does it support the non-micro-USB ports on the first-generation Beats Studio. If you are an audiophile holding onto a well-loved pair of older Beats because they simply sounded better than the newer iterations, this is the exact tool you need to keep them alive. But if your collection consists entirely of modern Apple ecosystem gear or brands using USB-C, this item serves no purpose for you.
In stark contrast to the single-purpose nature of the Podokas charger, the Jadebones adapter is built for the modern, multi-device lifestyle where space and efficiency are paramount. This white, metallic-finished dongle solves a critical problem for audiophiles who rely on high-quality wired connections but find themselves in a world where the 3.5mm headphone jack has vanished from almost every flagship phone and laptop. It combines a USB Type-C input with two distinct outputs: a standard 3.5mm auxiliary jack for your favorite wired headphones and a pass-through charging port capable of handling up to 100 watts. This means you can plug in your high-end studio monitors or sensitive earphones and charge your device simultaneously without draining the battery mid-session.
The engineering here focuses on universality and power management. With a current rating of 5 amps, the Jadebones adapter supports incredibly fast charging speeds for devices that demand high wattage, making it suitable for laptops as well as smartphones. The metallic finish suggests a robust build quality designed to resist the wear and tear of constant plugging and unplugging. For the audiophile, the inclusion of the 3.5mm jack is non-negotiable; many users argue that digital-to-analog conversion inside a cheap Bluetooth dongle degrades sound quality, whereas a direct analog connection preserves the full fidelity of the audio signal. This adapter allows you to bypass that degradation entirely while still getting the power your device needs to stay online.
This product is ideal for travelers, commuters, and students who carry multiple devices—a tablet for notes, a phone for calls, and a dedicated pair of wired headphones for focus. It eliminates the need to carry separate chargers and audio adapters, condensing your setup into a single, lightweight 11-gram unit. However, it is important to note that this is an adapter, not a standalone charger. You must plug it into a power source that supports the necessary voltage and amperage to achieve the advertised 100W charging speed. It is also strictly a USB-C to 3.5mm solution, meaning it cannot be used with any device that relies on Micro-USB or Lightning ports. If your primary audio setup involves older Beats gear, this adapter will not fit your needs, but for anyone bridging the gap between analog audio and digital power, it is a seamless solution.

I would personally buy the Jadebones USB C if my goal was to upgrade my daily carry for modern travel and high-fidelity listening. The ability to charge at 100W while maintaining a pristine analog audio connection is a feature that modern audiophiles desperately need as manufacturers continue to remove headphone jacks. It represents the future of portable audio—seamless, powerful, and uncompromising on sound quality. However, if I were holding a pair of my cherished, older Beats headphones that had been gathering dust due to a broken charger, I would immediately switch to the Podokas USB Charger Compatible. There is simply no substitute for a dedicated, correctly shaped connector that restores life to vintage audio gear. For the audiophile, the choice depends entirely on whether you are preserving the past or powering the future.
