Pocket X ("we", "our", or "us") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how our mobile application handles your information.
1. Information Collection and Storage
- Local Data Storage: Pocket X is an offline-first personal budget and expense management app. All financial data you enter (incomes, expenses, categories, accounts, and budgets) is stored locally on your device's internal storage. We do not transmit, store, or sell your personal financial records to any external cloud servers.
- No Account Required: You do not need to create an account, register, or link your bank accounts to use Pocket X.
2. Third-Party Services
To support the ongoing development and monitor app performance, Pocket X uses reputable third-party services provided by Google:
- Google AdMob: Used to serve non-personalized and personalized advertisements. AdMob may collect device identifiers (such as Google Advertising ID / AD_ID) in accordance with Google's advertising policies.
- Firebase Analytics & Crashlytics: Used to collect anonymous diagnostic and usage data (such as app crash logs and device models) to help us fix bugs and improve stability.

3. Permissions Used
Pocket X uses only standard, non-sensitive Android permissions:
- INTERNET: Required to fetch advertisements via Google AdMob and deliver app stability reports via Firebase.
- AD_ID: Required by Google Play services to serve AdMob ads.
We do NOT request or access sensitive permissions such as SMS, Microphone, Contacts, Camera, Photos, or Precise Location.
4. User Control & Data Deletion
Since all financial records reside exclusively on your phone:
- You can delete any individual transaction or reset all data at any time from within the app via Settings > Reset All Data.
- Uninstalling the app will permanently delete all stored local data from your device.
5. Children's Privacy
Pocket X is not directed to children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
