# PocketShrink Privacy Policy

This policy describes PocketShrink, the Android image-compression app from Innoglow. It also explains what happens when you contact us or visit the web page hosting this policy.
## Images and on-device processing
PocketShrink processes images on your device. The app does not request internet access, create accounts, show ads, take payments, or include analytics SDKs. It does not automatically upload images, usage information, or device data to Innoglow.
You choose images through Android's system document picker. The app receives access only to the images you select; it does not request broad photo-library access. A document provider may fetch a cloud-hosted image to fulfill your selection. That provider's handling of the image is governed by its own policies, not this app.
The app reads selected image data and, when present, orientation metadata to display and compress it correctly. It creates new, re-encoded output images without copying EXIF metadata, including GPS location metadata. Your original images remain with their document provider and are not modified or overwritten.
Compressed results are stored temporarily in the app's private cache. Starting another compression batch replaces the previous batch's cached results. On app launch, PocketShrink removes cached output files older than 24 hours; Android may also clear app cache. Cache files can remain until one of those events occurs. When you tap Save or Save all, the app writes new copies to `Pictures/PocketShrink`. Those saved copies remain until you delete them. When you choose Share, Android grants the receiving app access to the chosen output copy. The recipient may retain its own copy and handles it under its own privacy policy. Deleting PocketShrink or clearing its cache does not necessarily delete saved or shared copies.
## Contact and website
If you voluntarily email jack.hu@chatlyworld.com, Innoglow and the email service provider process your address and message to respond to support or privacy requests. Please avoid including photos or other sensitive information unless needed for your request. We retain correspondence as needed to handle the request and meet applicable legal obligations.
This policy's web page is hosted on Google Sites. Visiting the policy website may involve data handled by Google under [Google's Privacy Policy](https://policies.google.com/privacy). The website is separate from the offline PocketShrink app; the app does not automatically open or transmit information to it.
## Your choices and questions
You can stop using the app, remove saved copies through your gallery or file manager, clear the app's storage in Android settings, or uninstall it. To ask about this policy or a privacy request, email jack.hu@chatlyworld.com.
