Pocket Hero is a personal finance management application designed to help you track your income, expenses, and savings goals. We take your privacy seriously. This Privacy Policy describes what data the app collects, how it is used, and the rights you have over it.

Pocket Hero currently does not collect:

3. How Information Is Used

All information you enter into Pocket Hero is used solely to deliver the functionality of the application. Specifically:

• To track progress toward your savings goals and missions

• To remember your preferences such as currency and profile details

• To calculate and present financial summaries and charts

We do not use your data for advertising, profiling, or any purpose beyond operating the app for your personal benefit.

4. Local Data Storage

All data entered into Pocket Hero is stored exclusively on your device.

Pocket Hero uses Android's Room Database (a local SQLite-based database) to store all financial records, profile information, and settings. This means:

• Your financial data never leaves your device unless you explicitly export it

• We have no access to your financial records

• No external servers, databases, or cloud services currently receive your data

• Data persists on your device until you clear app data, uninstall the app, or reset your device

If you uninstall Pocket Hero, all locally stored data will be permanently deleted from your device.

5. Data Exports

Pocket Hero includes (or will include) the option to export your transaction history in formats such as CSV or JSON. This export is initiated entirely by you and is saved to your device's local storage. We do not receive a copy of any exported data.

6. Data Security

We are committed to protecting the information stored on your device. Since Pocket Hero stores all data locally, the security of your financial data is primarily governed by your device's own security mechanisms, including:

• Device screen lock (PIN, password, biometrics)

• Android's application sandboxing, which prevents other apps from accessing Pocket Hero's data

• Storage encryption provided by your device's Android operating system

We recommend keeping your device updated and secured with a strong lock screen to protect your financial information.

7. Data Sharing

We do not sell, rent, trade, or otherwise share your data with any third party.

Since Pocket Hero operates entirely offline and locally, there is no data to share with external parties at this time. We have no commercial relationships with data brokers, advertisers, or analytics providers.

8. Children's Privacy

Pocket Hero is intended for general audiences and is not directed specifically at children under the age of 13 (or the equivalent minimum age in your jurisdiction).

We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. Since all data is stored locally and entered manually by the user, Pocket Hero does not facilitate any automated collection of children's data.

9. User Rights

Even though Pocket Hero stores data locally, you retain full control over your information at all times. You have the right to:

• Delete — delete individual entries, categories, goals, or your entire profile from within the app

• Export — export your transaction data using the built-in export feature

• Erasure — clear all app data permanently by uninstalling the app or clearing app data via Android Settings

No account creation is required to use Pocket Hero, and no external request is needed to exercise these rights.

10. Third-Party Services

Pocket Hero currently does not integrate any third-party services, including:

• No advertising networks (e.g., AdMob, Meta Audience Network)

• No analytics platforms (e.g., Firebase Analytics, Mixpanel)

• No crash reporting tools (e.g., Crashlytics)

• No payment processors

• No social media SDKs

If third-party services are introduced in future versions, this Privacy Policy will be updated prior to their inclusion, and users will be informed through the app and/or the Play Store listing.

11. Future Features

We are continuously working to improve Pocket Hero. Future versions of the app may include optional features such as:

• Cloud backup and synchronization — allowing you to back up your data to a cloud provider of your choice (e.g., Google Drive). Any such feature will be strictly opt-in, will require your explicit consent, and will be covered by an updated Privacy Policy before becoming available.

• Account creation — if user accounts are ever introduced, you will be informed and given the choice to opt in.

• Additional integrations — any new third-party integrations will be disclosed in advance.

No currently active version of Pocket Hero collects or transmits data externally. Any future feature that involves external data transmission will only be enabled with your knowledge and consent.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will:

• Update the "Last Updated" date at the top of this document

• Notify users via an in-app notice or through the Google Play Store listing
