1. Information We Collect

Pocketera is designed with privacy-first principles. We collect minimal data necessary for the app to function:

• Financial Data: Stored locally on your device only.

• Documents: Photos uploaded to DocLocker — stored locally only.

• Preferences: Currency selection, settings — stored locally.

• Ad Data: Google AdMob may collect device identifiers for serving ads.

2. How We Use Your Data

• All financial data stays on your device and is never transmitted to our servers.

• We use Google AdMob for advertising, under Google's privacy policy.

3. Data Storage & Security

• All data is stored locally on your device.

• No cloud sync — your data never leaves your device unless you manually export it.

4. Third-Party Services

• Google AdMob: May collect device information and ad identifiers.

• No other third-party services have access to your data.

5. Data Sharing

Pocketera does not share, sell, or transmit your personal or financial data to any third party.

6. User Rights

• Export all data via the Backup feature.

• Delete all app data via Privacy > Clear All Data.

7. Billing & Invoicing Privacy

• Business & Customer Data: Company details, customer names, GST/Tax numbers, product lists, and bank details you enter for invoices, quotations, purchase orders, and other billing documents are stored locally on your device only.

• Generated Documents: Invoices, estimates, credit/debit notes, and PDFs are created on-device. Pocketera does not upload, store, or transmit any billing document to any server.

• Sharing: Billing documents are only shared when you explicitly choose to export or share them via your device's share sheet.

• Tax Identifiers: GST, PAN, TAN, CIN, and similar identifiers are used solely to populate your documents and never leave your device.

8. Billing Disclaimer

• Pocketera provides billing and invoicing tools only. It is the user's responsibility to ensure that invoices, tax rates (GST/VAT), HSN/SAC codes, and document formats comply with applicable laws and regulations in their jurisdiction.

• Document templates (Tax Invoice, Proforma, Purchase Order, Quotation, Estimate, Credit/Debit Note, Delivery Challan, Receipt, etc.) are provided as general-purpose formats and may require modification to meet statutory or industry-specific requirements.

• Pocketera is not a substitute for professional accounting, tax, or legal advice. Verify all calculations, tax amounts, and totals before issuing any document.

• The developer assumes no liability for any errors, omissions, financial loss, or legal consequences arising from documents generated using the app.

• Round-off, tax computations, and currency formatting are provided for convenience; users must independently confirm accuracy.
