Why there are Ads in Pocket Cellar?

Pocket Cellar was developed and is being maintained by a small group of non-fulltime contributors who are also passionate wine and liquor enthusiasts. We include ads in the app as a way to generate revenue to offset the costs of developing and hosting the app, as well as funding ongoing improvements and new features.

We've worked to integrate the Ads in a way that minimizes disruption to the user experience. The Ads are placed thoughtfully and unobtrusively, and users have the ability to close or interact with them at their discretion. Our goal is to find the right balance between a free, Ad-supported model and maintaining a positive user experience.
