VueCent ("VueCent," "we," "our," or "us") is a personal spending tracker app published under Android package com.metafusion.pocketplan.
This Privacy Policy explains what information VueCent collects, how we use it, when it may be shared, and how users can request account or data deletion.
By using VueCent, you agree to the practices described in this Privacy Policy.
VueCent helps users log income and expenses, organize spending records, set budgets, scan receipts, review subscription activity, and view category/trend summaries.
We do not sell personal data.
We collect and process data only as needed to provide app features, security, support, subscriptions, and legal compliance.
We may collect:
Email address
Display name
User ID and authentication identifiers
Sign-in provider details (including Google Sign-In, if chosen)
Authentication data managed by our authentication provider (we do not store plaintext passwords)
Users may enter or generate data in the app, including:
Transactions, income, expenses, notes, dates, amounts, categories, and merchant labels
Budgets, preferred currency, app settings, plan limits, and subscription entitlement state
App-generated summaries, alerts, trend projections, and usage records related to tracking features
If users choose to scan or upload, we may process:
Images captured by camera or selected by the user
Text extracted from receipts or invoices
Receipt details such as dates, totals, item names, and suggested categories
Optional profile images uploaded by the user
Camera access is used only when the user chooses to capture or scan inside the app.
VueCent does not use the camera in the background.
When users choose AI-powered features, VueCent may process:
User prompts and chat messages
Spending summaries and budget context
Receipt or invoice text and images
AI usage quota and usage status
AI features are used to generate requested tracking summaries, scan-related output, and activity-history responses.
Users should avoid entering sensitive information that is not required for the requested feature.
If notifications are enabled, we may collect or process:
Push notification token
Notification permission status
Notification preferences
Alert history and local read/dismissed state
Notifications are used for user-enabled app alerts.
Users can disable notifications in device settings (and in-app settings where available).
VueCent may process subscription-related data, including:
Selected plan
Subscription and entitlement status
Product IDs, order IDs, payment provider IDs, renewal status, and payment event records
For Android users on Google Play, purchases are handled by Google Play Billing.
VueCent does not collect or store full credit card numbers, full bank account numbers, or other complete payment credentials.
We may collect limited technical data needed to operate, secure, and improve the app, such as:
Device/service identifiers needed for authentication, notifications, subscription checks, and fraud prevention
Feature usage events, scan usage, and support diagnostics
Error logs, security events, and operational records
We use information to:
Create, authenticate, and manage user accounts
Store, sync, and display user spending and activity records
Provide budgets, categories, summaries, trend projections, alerts, and related tracking features
Scan receipts/invoices and suggest transaction details
Provide AI-powered tracking summaries and activity-history chat requested by the user
Manage subscriptions, plan limits, entitlement checks, and payment verification
Send user-enabled notifications
Provide customer support
Protect the app, detect abuse, prevent fraud, and enforce security controls
Comply with legal, tax, accounting, and regulatory obligations
VueCent requests only permissions needed for app features:
Camera: used when the user chooses to scan or capture a receipt, invoice, or related image
Biometric/Fingerprint: used only if the user enables app lock for local access
Notifications: used to send app alerts if the user grants permission
Internet: used to sign in, sync data, process subscriptions, and provide cloud/AI features
VueCent avoids unnecessary permissions such as microphone recording, audio-settings modification, external storage write access, and system alert windows.
VueCent uses trusted service providers to operate app features. These providers process data only as needed to provide services to VueCent.
Supabase: authentication, database and file storage, edge functions, account management, and security
Google services: Google Sign-In, Google Play Billing for Android subscriptions, and Google Gemini (or related AI services) where applicable
Expo: push notifications and app infrastructure
Safepay: payment checkout/subscription processing where available outside Google Play distribution
Third-party services may process data under their own privacy policies and terms.
We do not authorize these providers to sell user personal data.

With service providers required to operate app features described in this policy
With payment providers for purchase verification, subscription status, refunds/disputes, fraud prevention, and entitlement checks
With AI service providers when users invoke AI features that require processing prompts, receipt data, images, or tracking context

To protect user safety, app security, our rights, or the rights of others
In connection with a business transfer (e.g., merger, acquisition, financing, or sale of assets), subject to appropriate protections
We retain personal data only as long as needed for the purposes described in this policy, including app operation, account maintenance, legal compliance, dispute resolution, fraud prevention, and enforcement of agreements.
When a user deletes their account, we delete or anonymize associated app data unless retention is required for legal, tax, accounting, security, fraud-prevention, payment-dispute, or compliance reasons.
Backup copies may persist for a limited period before normal overwrite cycles.
Users can request deletion directly in the app:
Settings > Account > Delete Account
Account deletion is intended to remove the user’s authentication account and associated VueCent data, including profile data, transactions, categories, budgets, entitlement records, payment event records, AI usage records, alert history, profile photo files, and stored receipt/invoice data controlled by VueCent.

Some limited information may be retained where required for legal obligations, payment disputes, fraud prevention, security investigations, tax/accounting, or compliance.
Users can:
Add, edit, or delete records in the app
Choose whether to scan/upload receipts and images
Choose whether to use AI-powered features
Enable/disable notifications through device settings
Enable/disable biometric app lock where supported
Request account/data deletion
We use reasonable technical and organizational safeguards, including authenticated sessions, HTTPS network requests, access controls, secure local storage for sensitive app state where appropriate, and database security rules.
No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, so absolute security cannot be guaranteed.
VueCent is intended for general use and is not directed to children under 13.
We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
If we learn that such information has been provided, we will take reasonable steps to delete it.
User information may be processed and stored in countries other than the user’s country of residence, depending on provider infrastructure.
Where required, we apply appropriate safeguards for such processing.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time.
When material changes are made, we will update the “Last updated” date and may provide additional notice in the app or by other appropriate means.
