• your device’s storage access for exporting and importing of HTML files;

• data for syncing with Google drive (when you connect your Google account for backup).

How We Use Your Information

We use the collected information to enable the core functionality of the “Pocket Links” app, allowing you to organize and save links.

When you are connecting your Google account for backup purposed, Pocket Links:

• uploads encrypted backup files to your private Google Drive App Data Folder (does not read, edit, or delete any other Drive files);

• only accesses the app folder created specifically for Pocket Links;

• allows you to disable sync at any time;

• allows you to revoke Google Drive permissions at any time.

Sharing Your Information

We may share your information with the following parties:

1. Service Providers: We engage third-party service providers to assist in the operation and improvement of the “Pocket Links” app. These providers have access to your information for the sole purpose of performing services on our behalf. Such service providers are: Firebase, Supabase, Google Drive API.

2. Legal Compliance: We may share your information in response to a legal request or obligation, or to protect our rights, privacy, safety, or property.

Data retention

Local app data is stored on your device until you manually delete the app or clear app data.

Google Drive backups remain on your Drive until you delete them manually, or you revoke app access in your Google Account settings.

We take reasonable precautions to protect your information from unauthorized access, loss, misuse, or alteration. Despite our efforts, we encourage you as a user of the “Pocket Links” app, to remember, that no data transmission over the internet or electronic storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee a complete security.

Please note that this Privacy Policy will change from time to time to reflect changes in our practices or for other operational, legal, or regulatory reasons. We will notify you of any changes via updates to the “Pocket Links” app.
