Instructions for poster presenters

Posters should be a maximum of 36 inches tall by 48 inches wide. Presenters are responsible for designing, printing, and transporting their own posters. Some useful poster templates and printing resources can be found online, for example at https://www.posterpresentations.com/free-poster-templates.html. 

Poster presenters will have the opportunity to give a 3 minute "lightning talk" on Wednesday, July 17. The lightning talks should briefly summarize the content of the poster and encourage folks to visit the poster for further discussion on subsequent days. Lightning talk presenters will have the option of projecting one slide to accompany their talk, if they wish. On Thursday, July 18, poster presenters will be able to set up their posters at the conference venue in the morning, and are encouraged to chat with other POBAM attendees about their posters during coffee breaks throughout the day on Thursday and Friday.
