2024 PNW Tri-Outs Youth Triathlon Clinic

This is a not-for-profit clinic with the goal of providing young athletes with a safe and fun space to learn about triathlon. The goal is to explore how to practice the three disciplines safely and gain confidence to be able to take on a late summer local tri or simply learn more about open water swimming, biking, and running.

Schedule

6/30: Cycling Clinic @ Clark Elementary School Parking Lot, bring any bike, 1:00-2:30pm

7/7: Open Water Swimming Clinic @ Beaver Lake Park, 1:00-2:30 pm

7/14: Run Clinic @ Issaquah Middle School Track, 1:00-2:30pm

8/4: Triathlon Transitions Clinic @ Beaver Lake Park, 1:00-2:30pm

8/11: Final event: swim->run (Aquathlon) mock race and Gear Raffle @ Beaver Lake Park, 1:00-3:00pm 

Notes: 

• This clinic is open to under 18, target middle and high school aged athletes.

• Each participant will receive a raffle ticket for the 8/11 gear raffle for each session they participate in to incentivize attending multiple or all sessions. But all sessions are drop in.

• A youth USA triathlon membership is required to participate in any of the sessions ($10), see registration page.

• All proceeds from the class will go to facility rental, all remaining funds will be pooled for the triathlon gear raffle in collaboration with our sponsors to get some awesome gear to give away after the event on 8/11!
