A service call fee is a cost a company charges to send a technician to a customer's address for a service. This cost is calcualted based on the distance from the technician, to the service address
This is a flat fee charged for a diagnostic. See disclaimer below for further details
This is calculated based on when the technician leaves the shop, and ends when the techncian finished the job (lunches, and non-service related activities are subtracted from the total billed time)
Services that require the technician to do additional driving to complete the job
Automotive DIAGNOSTIC DISCLAIMER:
The flat diagnostic fee covers the initial assessment of your device, including diagnostic scans, procedural testing, and a visual inspection to identify potential issues. However, this fee does not include the removal or replacement of specialty parts, extensive disassembly, or repairs requiring deep tear downs. Should further work be required beyond the scope of the initial diagnostic, such as disassembling the device or replacing specialized components, additional labor charges may apply.
You will be notified of any additional costs or procedures before any work beyond the diagnostic is undertaken.
