The downtown is very walkable and it has many good options for food. From the Hilton Garden Inn, the downtown is one mile away; you can walk or take an Uber. The public transportation is free in Corvallis but the schedule is not always very convenient since the buses only run once an hour. See the lists below for recommendations of places around town; click on the names for a link to a map. For breakfast, we recommend the breakfast at the hotel.
The campus is located right across the street (north) form the hotel. The conference will take place in Bexell Hall and it is a 15 min walk from the hotel. See the "schedule" for a map. Be sure to be prepared for the rain. It may not be raining very hard but there might be a constant drizzle. Corvallians just walk in the rain with rain gear, but you may want to bring an umbrella.
If you have any other questions, please contact one of the organizers.
